Abstract The limited material and human resources available in the Spanish public mental health system, combined with high prevalence of emotional disorders nowadays, makes it necessary to search for implement other more cost-effective formats. versatility Unified Protocol (UP) transdiagnostic treatment allows its application group format, which could be a solution system. aim present study is investigate cost-effectiveness UP applied format specialized care units compared Treatment as usual (TAU) system over 15-month time period. sample this consisted 188 patients, diagnosed an disorder, randomized condition or TAU individual format. findings have shown same beneficial results participants symptoms anxiety depression both conditions greater improvements quality life condition.
